Cozy Retreat

The Royal Emperor project, located in Shivaji Park, Mumbai, showcases an exquisite fusion of traditional and contemporary design elements. Spanning 2,000 square feet, the project was executed at a cost of ₹45 lakh.

Design Concept and Challenges: The primary challenge was to merge two separate flats into a cohesive living space that embodies a 'royal modern' theme. This involved integrating classic design elements with ultra-modern materials to achieve a harmonious blend of old-world charm and contemporary aesthetics. A notable feature is the use of wood paneling throughout the unit, adding warmth and elegance to the interiors.

Materials and Techniques: The project employed a combination of traditional and modern materials. Italian marble was used for the flooring, providing a luxurious feel, while the walls were adorned with a mix of classic wallpaper and modern paint finishes. The lighting fixtures were carefully selected to complement the royal theme, with chandeliers and sconces adding a touch of grandeur.

Location Significance: Situated in Shivaji Park, a prominent residential area in Mumbai known for its historical significance and proximity to the beach, the project's location adds to its appeal. The design also incorporates elements that reflect the cultural heritage of the area, paying homage to local traditions.
